Celebrating National Meals on Wheels Day

What a wonderful day we had yesterday for National Meals on Wheels Day & our Cuppa For A Cause fundraiser.

The Inverell community again amazed us with their wonderful support. The donation of cakes, slices, lamingtons & cinnamon logs from Macintyre Hot Bread, Brumby's, LB Hotbread, Home Sweet Home Cafe, Woolworths & Coles was outstanding. Mixed with lovely home cooked treats from our committee & staff, the morning tea provided was delicious.

We would like to thank everyone who was involved either in donating goods or purchasing morning tea. A special mention to Community Best Shed who surprised us with a $500 donation. We exceeded our fundraising target & with over $1,500 raised, we can support many, many people in our community by providing fresh & nutritious meals.

As part of our National Meals on Wheels Day, each of our clients have received a complimentary morning tea pack & we're looking forward to celebrating our fantastic volunteers at our upcoming volunteer lunch.
